Facing with heavy damage caused by the storm No. 7, Nutricare and staff took practical action to share with the people in Central Vietnam.
Over the past few days, storm after storm, flood after flood in the Central provinces have made many houses and villages deeply flooded. People are trapped in the middle of water, exhausted from hunger and cold. With “caring and sharing” spirit, Nutricare Nutrition Joint Stock Company decided to donate 250,000 dairy products and nutritious foods, 2,000 chưng cakes, and at the same time call upon for staff members’ donation of 1-day salary to share some difficulties with people in areas severely affected by the floods.
On October 22nd, the first relief wave was handed to people in the worst affected communes by the Trade Union and the Youth Union of Nutricare company together with distributor Hung Cuong and local authorities Cam Thanh, Cam Due, Ky Anh, and Thach Ha communes – Ha Tinh province.
The second phase of relief goods are also ready and will be quickly transported by Nutricare to support the people in the “flood-centre” of Hue, Quang Binh, Quang Tri.
Sharing about the rescue activity this time, Mr. Bui Khanh Tung – Deputy General Director of Nutricare, who was directly present in Ha Tinh, shared: “Until now, we can really understand the situation of people in the Central region who are so suffered and exhausted. There have been two recent outbreaks of COVID-19, the storm No. 5 and now the historic flood, not to mention the oncoming storm No. 8. Storm after storm, flood after flood, people are being divided by floods will be difficult to reach those who need support. Hopefully, this small attention of Nutricare’s employees will contribute to help people overcome this difficult period”.
Over the years, Nutricare Dairy Company has carried out many compassionate journeys to support people in natural disaster areas, children, poor patients, or most recently, the program to donate 25,000 glasses of milk to kidney patients during the COVID epidemic- 19… Through this practical action, Nutricare wishes to spread the spirit of patriotism, the beauty of “healthy leaves cover the torn leaves” spirit – a fine culture of the Vietnamese people.
