From February 4, 2021, thousands of glasses of milk were donated by Nutricare Nutrition Joint Stock Company to children, people, and front-line medical staffs in Covid-19 quarantine areas.
Currently, the number of Covid – 19 infections in the community from January 27 to February 6, 2021 has reached 394 cases, in many areas such as Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Gia Lai, Binh Duong.
With the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is extremely important to supplement nutrients to increase the body’s immunity, especially for children. Therefore, Nutricare Company has taken hands-on actions to give milk to children and people in the declared epidemic area as well as nurses and doctors who are on duty, to strengthen the resistance and improve health, help overcome the epidemic season.
Nutricare donates milk to strengthen the resistance and improve health of children, residents and medical staffs in quarantine areas.
Sharing the purpose of this activity, Ms. Vu Mai Huong – Deputy CFO – Nutricare Company said: “This Lunar New Year was a period with many worries of everyone, especially for children and people in quarantine areas. These people are being isolated and will certainly have a difficult time to celebrate a fulfill Tet holiday. With that in mind, Nutricare wants to spread sharing with healthy gifts, bringing essential nutrition and the best resistance to children and people in isolated areas.”
Besides, as a unit operating in the field of nutrition and medical nutrition, we care about medical doctors, taking the lead in the “battle” against the pandemic, breaking into the affected areas for a fast and effective elimination of the pandemic. “We deeply admire the courage and spirit of” anti-epidemic just like anti-enemy” of the medical staff who are persistently sticking to the area, actively guiding people to prevent epidemics to protect the social health.” – Ms. Huong added.
Therefore, from February 4, 2021, Nutricare started to hand over 24,000 glasses of milk as gifts to people in the quarantine areas. The first destination is Xuan Phuong Primary School, where 57 students in grade 3 and many teachers and parents are doing quarantine. The next destination is Bac Ninh province and the Bac Ninh’s General Hospital, a locality has a very close connection with Nutricare in production and development activities; In particular, Bac Ninh is also the province that houses 2 powdered milk and liquid milk factories of Nutricare. We also expressed our encouragement to medical staffs of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases; with thousands of glasses of milk for the quick-response Information Group – The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and children in epidemic zones in Hai Duong province, specifically:
- 2,800 glasses for Xuan Phuong Primary School (Hà Nội)
- 2,400 glasses for Mac Thi Buoi Kindergarten (Hai Duong)
- 4,800 glasses for the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases (Hanoi)
- 7,680 glasses for Bac Ninh General Hospital, police officers in epidemic zones and the Relief Center for Disabled Children in Thuan Thanh District
- 3,800 glasses for the Quick Response Information Group – National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention
Nutricare’s trip to carry out the giving journey in Lunar New Year 2021 to people in quarantine areas
It is known that this activity has been implemented by Nutricare in the “Million glasses of milk for the community” campaign.
