{"id":47049,"date":"2026-05-23T08:53:50","date_gmt":"2026-05-23T08:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nutricare.com.vn\/?p=47049"},"modified":"2026-08-21T02:48:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T02:48:06","slug":"nutricare-organizes-conference-on-nutrition-for-c-section-babies-bringing-together-leading-experts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nutricare.com.vn\/en\/nutricare-organizes-conference-on-nutrition-for-c-section-babies-bringing-together-leading-experts\/","title":{"rendered":"Nutricare organizes conference on Nutrition for C-Section Babies, bringing together leading experts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><i>(Dantri) &#8211; Nutricare, in collaboration with the Nutricare Medical Nutrition Institute \u2013 USA (NMNI-USA), organized a customer conference combined with the scientific symposium \u201cC-Section Babies \u2013 A Different Start and 6-HMO Nutrients Inspired by Breast Milk.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was held successively in Hung Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, bringing together pediatricians and nutrition experts from the United States, Japan, and Vietnam, along with nearly 2,000 of Nutricare\u2019s strategic partners nationwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond networking, the conference also served as an open forum where Nutricare\u2019s partners could hear nutrition experts share the latest research on child development, especially concerning children born by cesarean section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through its useful content, the program provided a comprehensive perspective on the specific nutritional needs of C-section babies and suitable solutions to improve their health during the first years of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>C-Section babies and the challenges of a different start<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the key topics emphasized by experts at the conference was the difference in the immune system and gut microbiota between vaginally born babies and C-section babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C-section babies often do not come into contact with beneficial maternal \u201cmicrobial armor\u201d during birth because they do not have the opportunity to encounter beneficial bacteria through the mother\u2019s birth canal. In the long term, without timely intervention, microbiota imbalance may leave systemic \u201csequelae,\u201d making children more susceptible to long-term immune disorders, obesity, and type 1 diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Nutritional supplementation applying scientific advances to support microbiota balance and immunity in C-Section babies<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To restore the microbiota of C-section babies, breast milk is always the \u201cgold standard\u201d of nutrition, containing HMOs, antibodies, and natural beneficial bacteria that help restore the child\u2019s microbiota in the best possible way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When a mother\u2019s milk is delayed or insufficient after a cesarean delivery, the child needs scientifically designed supplemental solutions to restore digestion by rebuilding the intestinal environment, compensating for the microbiota deficiency, and strengthening immune defenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientific studies presented at the conference showed that the gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of immunity, supporting nutrient absorption, and protecting children against pathogens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PhD, MD, Level II Specialist Nguyen Thi Thu Hau \u2013 Head of the Department of Nutrition, Children\u2019s Hospital 2, emphasized the importance of supplementing nutritional components that apply advanced scientific achievements to help balance the microbiota and strengthen immunity in C-section babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A notable example is 6-HMOs \u2013 valuable nutrients structurally similar to HMOs in breast milk, which nourish beneficial bacteria, balance the gut microbiota, and support healthy digestive and immune systems, making them suitable for C-section babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the postbiotic Lactococcus lactis strain Plasma (LC-Plasma) was described by PhD, MD Yusuke Ushida \u2013 Director of the Institute of Health Science, Kirin Nutrition Group, Japan \u2013 as one of the latest breakthrough technologies for enhancing immunity in young children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The LC-Plasma postbiotic is highly stable and can be stored at room temperature.
